I am a recent transplant to this amazing city. My background is in both education and counseling. As a teacher, school psychologist, special ed director and elementary school principal, I have been an advocate for children and their families for many years. Twenty years ago, after completion of my MSW at Smith College, I began a counseling agency, “The Adoption Network”. The goal of the agency was to provide a safe place for all adoption related issues to be resolved. Most recently I have completed courses in divorce mediation. I am bilingual (Spanish speaking) and a single adoptive mother of two internationally adopted adults. I am committed to supporting all family members as they work through issues of loss, adoption, and divorce. I am looking forward to expanding my professional network and developing a successful practice in New York.
