Born in Europe, I have lived, studied and worked in several countries before making New York City my home where I have been in private practice since 1982. Having struggled early on with issues of language, identity and belonging, I believe that my personal experiences have enhanced my ability to help people of diverse backgrounds negotiate their own lives and become more integrated and productive. I use an approach that combines insight oriented , systemic and cognitive methods to establish an active and collaborative dialogue that promotes self-reflection, personal development and changes in behavior. I am fluent in Spanish and French.
