Personal Statement:
I work using an eclectic use of skills to meet each client's specific needs. Such skills are drawn from psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT and EMDR training. I am a candidate in ICP's Trauma Studies Program. I provide a nonjudgmental environment in which clients can explore their struggles, make changes and enhance their strengths. I am multicultural and speak Spanish fluently and have experience in treating Spanish-speaking as well as other immigrants and first generation Americans with acculturation issues.
