Personal Statement:

“What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us” H.D. Thoreau

As a psychotherapist for more than 30 years I’ve helped individuals and couples address a wide variety of life issues that have enabled them to lead more authentic and meaningful lives. Whether you are searching for a more meaningful career, desiring a more satisfying relationship, or managing a significant life change, I will help you learn to cope with any struggles and challenges that you currently face.
Through our work together, I will assist you in developing greater self-awareness, and empower you to make better life decisions and choices.

Whatever your needs are, I am here to help you. My training as a psychotherapist and a psychoanalyst will bring a deeper understanding to our work.

Often the hardest part is just taking the first step. There is no time like the present!

My private practice is full time on the Upper West Side working with adults, individuals, couples, and families with young children who’ve had fertility problems and have used third party reproduction. I specialize in working with people who are struggling with all aspects of infertility, and parenting.

For 20 years I was the Fertility Counselor/Psychotherapist at the
Continuum Reproductive Center at Roosevelt Hospital where I met with individuals, couples, family members, and egg donors who were involved in trying to get pregnant and have a baby.

I’ve completed the training at the Alzheimer’s Association to work
with families, spouses, children, and caregivers of loved one’s with Alzheimer’s. I also have a special interest in working with the LGBTQ community.

I work with people of all ages, backgrounds, sexual orientation, and professions. I am very interested in helping people with intergenerational conflicts.
